Surface-mounted roller shutter

The surface-mounted roller shutter is mounted externally in front of the window. The box sits on the wall above the window, the guide rails run on the wall or in the reveal. The shutter curtain moves up and down in front of the window surface.

Surface-mounted roller shutters can be easily retrofitted as no structural changes to the building envelope are required. They are suitable for existing buildings, renovations and new builds. Various systems (e.g. SK90, SK45, SKO-P, SKP) offer different box sizes, slat heights and equipment.

Sun protection, privacy, glare protection and heat protection. When the curtain is closed, an air cushion forms in front of the window. Surface-mounted roller shutters are available in many colours and can be operated manually or electrically. Optional: plaster carriers, various guide rails and electric drives with remote control or smart home integration.
