Venetian blinds

Available in: Sun protection

Venetian blinds (also called external blinds) have adjustable slats connected by cords. Unlike roller shutters, the slats can be tilted – enabling precise control of light ingress while providing sun protection. The view outside remains when slats are tilted.

Venetian blinds or roller shutters?

Venetian blinds are suitable when daylight should enter the rooms despite sun protection – ideal for living room, kitchen or office. Roller shutters are better when complete blackout (e.g. bedroom), stronger sound insulation or maximum thermal insulation is the priority. Both variants can be combined in the house.

Surface-mounted and integrated venetian blinds

Venetian blinds are available as surface-mounted (box in front of the facade) and integrated (box on the window). Various systems with Z or C slats, different box sizes and drive types (manual, electric) are available. The slat shape affects blackout, stability and appearance.
